About Nuuro

Challenge

When Nuuro approached us, the app's capabilities were limited to one feature: scanning menus and recommending the best food options based on user preferences. While this was a solid starting point, the client envisioned a more comprehensive tool that would:

• •Organize the designs and create a design system for the app
• •Integrate health data from at-home test kits for hyper-personalized recommendations.
• •Provide tailored meal plans for individual users and groups.

Our Approach

Our team focused on UI/UX design and development to reimagine Nuuro, ensuring every feature aligned with the user's journey and the client's vision. We started with organizing the old designs and created a solid style guide to start with.

Feature Ideation & Design

Add Family & Friends by Inviting and Connecting Profiles

Designed functionality for users to invite and connect profiles, making it easy to include dietary preferences for all members.

Meal Planning for Groups

Created a collaborative feature for customized meal plans catering to families or groups with diverse dietary needs.

Health Data Integration

Enabled users to sync health data for personalized nutrition advice by integrating test results.

Test Kits

Developed an in-app e-commerce feature for purchasing test kits, allowing users to perform at-home tests and incorporate results into their profiles.
